Angel Beats

Hey blog overlookers! (That's not even a word...) I've recently finished an anime that I considered actually really good. Ya! Angel Beats! The whole story is based on people that had an unfair life when they were living. When they died, their souls were put into this afterlife, but because they had harsh lives they wanted to fight God.
The main character, Yuzuru Otonashi was a boy who lost his memory when he appeared in the afterlife. He was the only one who didn't believe "Angel" was the antagonist, despite the thoughts of the others.
The genre for this story is tragedy, fantasy, and school-life. Trust me. It's not as boring and mundane as you might think.

The Importance of Starters

We all, at some points in our lives, gave away our starter Pokemon for the "better" ones. But starters are actually a very important part of the game. They are the ones who first brought us into the world of Pokemon. They were the ones to take the first step with us. No matter which type you chose, water, fire or grass, you chose that one.
My first Pokemon was Piplup. I started the game when I was 7 or 8, so the first game I ever came to play was Pearl. I never gave away my Piplup, because of the fact that you could always rely on him. No matter in what situation, Piplup would be the first to enter a battle, whether was it with other trainers or facing wild Pokemon.
Starter Pokemon always would have that special connection that only you and it would share. Sometimes, they can be more than just pixels on a gaming device. They can become your friend, and can help you through problems you would never face alone.

I Absolutely Hate Titles

Merp. I set my reading goal to 50 books this year, and I'm very far behind. I better start reading... :/ Every time I finish a book, I tend to forget about the whole reading contest thing, or the internet's way too slow to use. I'm feeling so annoyed.
Should I start blogging about my Pokemon adventures? 0.o

INTERNET...Internet...internet...

I feel like that fish that had the misfortune of getting dumped in the middle of the desert again... Only having about half a gigabyte left of data, you can't really do anything. I'm missing out on most of the youtube videos I love so much... It's depressing to not have a proper internet. We are supposed to get the internet fixed next week, and that's making me really impatient. :D
But Pokemon has always been there for me. >:D I finally passed the Pokemon League for Pokemon Platinum, but apparently, Azelf decided to not appear in its cave, so I can't exactly move on without completing the Pokedex. (*sigh... Such good childhood memories...) I ditched the game for Pokemon Black after giving up on completing the Pokedex. Now... Where am I supposed to get a sun stone for my Cottonee. :( Note: Pokemon was basically my childhood... No complaining. I still prefer Sinnoh, though. What's the Pokemon Musical supposed to do? I can't wait until I get to meet the legendary. (Lord N should be there, right???)
These days, I find myself using the old google chat. I really hate the new format. You can no longer become invisible anymore... :( And it's hard to see the people that are online. I'm also finding myself to hate Outlook. Where did the old Hotmail go?

Another Awesome Quote

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

A Very Late Happy Canada Day

I hate the fact that my internet still doesn't decide to connect - yet. I had planned to post exactly on Canada Day, until I found out that the internet refused to connect. So here I am, (again) at my friend's house, writing up a very late post. >:( This is getting quite annoying.
So... How was everybody's Canada Day? :D I actually had a performance that day. I would prefer staying at home and stick my nose into a book or spend my time on the internet, but that choice seems pretty far-fetched. :( I envy Lorri. (For those of you who don't know her, she's my awesome friend, and an awesome blogger. Go follow her at http://diaryofabookwormblogurl.blogspot.ca/. Not that I have any followers myself... T^T) She probably has all the time in her life to read. If you guys ever have the chance to visit downtown Toronto, prepare yourselves with plenty of food and water supplies. There are a lot of festivals and events that will most likely go on until the night. It's normally like that too, so if you ever get to go to Canada, stop by Toronto. :)
I'm still not sure what this blog is for, but when I go to university, I'll probably be learning physics, so there will be some changes to this blog. I mean, who isn't interested in meeting their clone that only exists about a few million light years away? Or traveling back in time, hopefully not creating a time paradox? (TIME PAIR OF SOCKS! For those of you that are fans of Bravest Warriors, I love you! :D) And what about the parallel universe theory? It's all quite fascinating, so I'm not sure why people would think physics is boring. Of course, I'm still a young person with wild dreams, so correct me if I'm wrong.
